This hands-on workshop is designed for absolute beginners and removes the intimidation of the shop environment, offering a welcoming opportunity to learn fundamental safety protocols and basic MIG welding techniques—often called the “hot glue gun” of the metal world because of how approachable it is to learn. You will apply your new skills by crafting a striking, gem-shaped fire pit—a bold, sculptural centerpiece designed to elevate any outdoor space. All metal, welding gas, and safety gear are included with registration. Please come prepared wearing 100% cotton long pants, a long-sleeve shirt, and closed-toe leather boots. No prior experience is necessary to join this creative and engaging class.
